Well, Eric is currently winging his way to the other side of the country. I dropped him off at the airport at about 6:15 PM and his flight got delayed so he wasn't boarding until 8:00 PM which means he won't land until almost one o'clock in the morning. I guess it's still better than getting up at four to make an early flight tomorrow.

We had a really great weekend. Eric was totally surprised about the Avs game. Our seats were good (right behind the attack twice goal) and the Avs won in a shootout so we got our full $57 dollars worth. Since the face value of the tickets was $162 we were really happy with the night. The Avs arena isn't as nice as Philips, but it's got good food. We're really spoiled with both Philips and the Gwinnett Center. Today we went to the Denver skatepark and I walked to REI while Eric skated. I'm thinking about applying for a part time job there since I haven't gotten far in my job hunt over the past two weeks.

I've got lots to do this week. Hockey season is finally starting on the 4th (the Thrashers have their first game on the 5th) so we're going to get a new DVR to be sure we can record all the games and Lost episodes. Comcast offers a DVR that can record two different channels and let you watch a third all at the same time. Since we still have the Replay that's in need of an upgrade we're going to get theirs until we decide what we want to do.

Patty is picking me up at 9:30 AM to go to Celestial Seasonings tomorrow. I'm really excited. I've wanted to go ever since we talked about moving here. I should see if they need people there, I love being there so much. Boulder is about 20 miles away, but I'm not sure if Celestial Seasonings is farther - it would be kind of a hike for work. Oh well - I'll try to post more often. I'll write how my week goes.
